Today=Slack Day

Today was such a slack day!! I mean..math lecture, break half an hour, chinese, break 3 hours....!!! Math tutorial, PE then H1... all in all..I had 3 and 1/2 hour break!! People who aren't taking chinese have 4 and 1/2 hour break can?!

With so many breaks, it's no wonder that I feel so tired everyday..I mean, when you have nothing to do you begin to feel lethargic right? And then the sleepy-ness kicks in. Plus today's whether is totally for sleeping..so cooling and the winds were so powDerful..

Which reminds me..the lamest thing happened today. See..I bought this huge plate of mutton briyani plus chicken chop, potato wedges and achar..(rugger's appetite hor jaya??) And normally there will be a piece of papadum(correct me if the spelling is wrong), the thin cracker, to go along with the briyani rice right? But the auntie was so nice she gave me 2 pieces! I was damn happy la.. So I skipped(happily) back to our table, eager to dig into the yummy lunch. The stupidest thing had to happen though..

A strong gust of wind swept by and guess what? That 2 innocent pieces of papadum was blown out of the plate!! Onto the floor!!! BOOOOO~ how ma lu can it get la.. But I took it good-naturedly and picked it up, sealing their fate into the bin instead of my tummy. Note that people around me were greatly amused and I laughed along with them..

My first reaction was.."OH MY GOSH!" which grabbed the attention of 2 j2 sitting nearby.. they turned ground-ward to look at the papadum-s, then turn to stare at me..I stared back at them, too stoned to react. Then they broke out laughing..and I laughed too..so dots can..

And then after I put down the plate of briyani at my seat, I had go back to the table the j2 were sitting at and reach underneath in order for me to retrieve the papadums.

Super unlucky, plus embarrassing!!!!!!!!!

Oh wells..

What did we do during the 3 hours break? We were supposed to do research on plate tectonics and volcanoes..but jason, eugene, clar, char and me ended up lazing at the cafe discussing about undergarments!(female and male) The different types for different occasions, the totally absurb ones..the kinky..the comfy. Had a great time Discussing about it okay..We should do this more often..

Oh..and of course PE was fun!! (char came to school for PE only!! I mean..she's not taking chinese.and math is just..ponnable..but she didn't pon la..) Played Frisbee!

Frisbee is not about throwing it across the field towards your team-mates and scoring at the boundary area. It about laughing at Chiaw and jason!! So damn funny.. everytime Chiaw releases the frisbee, he'll holler,"JJAAAYYSSSSENNNNN~" in a very zao sia way..And the worse thing is, the frisbee gets into jason's hands like 1 out of 20 throws. Because Chiaw threw it so far and with so much force, it often went offcourse. Then Jason will go,"yeah yeah!!! I can make it!!" while he's aiming for the frisbee..End up the frisbee always turn away from him and everyone will just end up collapsed in gales of mad laughter.

Aye..my class in just so enthu during it PE I love my class so much for being enthu!!!!! YEah!! Go a1 go a1...Yanyi and Jaya will be doing those cedar cheers while we jog..except the cheers were now converted into A1 instead of CEDAR.

I hope I can have such enthu and fun-loving classmates after 2nd orientation. They are, afterall, going to be my classmates for the next 1year+9months..

Speaking of 2nd orientation, finale is 9 March!!! GAH!!!!!!!!!! I don't want!! I'm supposed to be free on that day!!!!!! Don't want 9 march!! MAke it 10 march!!!!!!!!

right.

okay..char told me this today..very interesting...

for girls, take your height and times it by 1.09..that will be your bf's ideal height.

for guys..do the opposite la..take your height and divide it by 1.09.

so, for example..myself:

height: 165cm

165 x 1.09=179.85

appox 180(3 sig. fig.)

therefore, my ideal boyfriend's height should be 180cm!

right..now I shall go around asking every guy I see until I find one who's 180cm tall!!

Everyone!! go catch Pink Panther!! No the diamond hasn't escape from prison because it obviously can't, having no legs and therefore cannot be mobile..oh in case you were thinking that I was refering to an animal when I said "go catch pink panther", I was talking about the movie. And Pink Panther is really the diamond..not the cat.

Right. The movie. Heck-care the critics!! So what if they only gave it 2 out of 5 stars?? I give it 10 thumbs up okay! So what if it isn't those arty farty films?? Watching a movie is supposed to be an enjoyable experience!(not that watching art films isn't enjoyable, just that comedy is a different genre all together!)yeah anyway..the movie's so funny I was laughing throughout!! I even had difficulty breathing! I simply love that french accent! Oh gosH, and that learning how to say"I want to buy a hamburger" part!!!

Yup, it's a really good movie to laugh out loud!! Be it laughing all your sorrows..(i know it should be crying all your sorrows out..but..you know laughing is really good cure too!) or simply laughing for the sake of laughing!!

Valentine's DAY!!

How was everyone's valentine's?? I certainly hope it's been great! Well, at least mine wasn't spoilt or ended on a bad note. The only holiday that's good in months!! I'm glad!

Right..so anyway, my day was spent......guess?

Don't want??

Okay..GORGING myself! It was like I'm some wartime refugee..starved for years!!(not days, not weeks, not months..but years!!) Here's what i consumed..

A FOOT long subway sandwich...half chicken teriyaki, half oven-baked chicken breast..accompanied with all the veggies(tomatoes, pickles, cheese..i know it isn't a veggie..cucumber, olive..lettuce..some green stuff)

...a coffee..plain, no sugar, no milk...

That's for breakfast..2 hours later, I was hungry again..

Swenson's meal..for starters, chicken salad with all the usual dressing and more veggies!!( I love veggies!!)

...then main course of a plate of finger-licking fish and chips(not as nice as fish and co..but still acceptable)..and black pepper seafood pasta..

..plus a peach smoothie..

..dessert was this terrible ice cream cake..the ice cream was okay..everything else was not.

(the ice water that they kept refilling just made me more bloated than I already was..!)

That's not all!!! That's only lunch!

now..there's also dinner..to complete the day. Went to Li Bai..(my absolute favourite chinese restaurant..I don't like chinese food and I only eat chinese food from there!! Right, next time, I'll be so rich I will order an outlet to be in my holiday bungalow so that they can cook for me whenever I demand for it!)

For starters, there's the fried silver fish and honey-coated nuts..

..then cold dish, shellfish sashimi!!!!!!!! Shiok!!

..a plate of braised and delicately-sliced duck meat..yum yum..

After that..a dish of cod fish and yet another shellfish..this time, steamed with tonnes of garlic and vermicelli in bamboo!

..and my ultimate favourite! BEEF!!! BLACK PEPPER BEEF GRILLED TO PERFECTION! JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT, 60% HALF WELL-DONE!!

of course, not forgetting dessert..it's piping almond cream so smooth it slides down your tongue right into your belly!!

So.that was my v-day..eating..

Of course there were other activities, like being thrashed at pool! GAH!!!

Too bad couldn't make it for the ice-skating rink! BOO!!

I'm in love with a dimwit!! But a cute one at that! Thanks for making it such an enjoyable day!!!

Right...Does it sound obscence? As in on its own? Oh my GOSH!! I can't believe I said that!! Anyway, I didn't mean it that way..Still...BAH!!

OKay..I was chatting with this (guy) friend. And, apparently, he's not very satisfied with his 'O's result(L1R5=9 not good meh??Well,different ppl have different standards) So anyway, I was telling him it was not bad and that he should just move on..He insisted that it wasn't and told me not to say it's good.(I didn't right??) Well, if he doesn't want me saying it's NOT BAD, I figured I'll do just the opposite.

Me: You think you did bad?

Him: No. I KNOW I did badly..

Me: yeah lo..you didn't do well..

Him: I know. Stop rubbing it in.

Me: I'll keep rubbing it in until you sit up and defend yourself!

Him: EEE..that sounds obscene

Me: got meh..(being the usual slow me)

Him: read again

Me: (upon realisation) OMGOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe I just said that!!! I'm going to confess!!!

Okay..so that's the story.

Anyway, I'm in a lalala~ mood. cause it's 2 minutes to VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

I suddenly thought of something that Jo said. HAHAHA!! OKay..she was supposed to blog about this..but nvm, I say first..

Remember that friday when we watched the works?? We were at eh bridge, waiting for them to spring up..and there was this part of marina bay that was glowing..like luminous..

Jo: eh deb, why there so bright??

me: Don't know leh..what do you think it is?

Jo: It's the SUN!!!

I was like.hello! It's 9++ at night!! And the sun can't be rising from or setting at the horizon at 9 in the night!! And we both ended up in gales of mad laughter somehow..Jo couldn't stop..hahahaha!!

OH!!! it's 12.05!!

Goodbye DEE!!! Well..OG 3(half of it) turned up at terminal 2 to send diana off...and plus all her St.N friends..

Somehow, it seemed surreal..like it was just last week when I last talked to her or got to know her..and now she's leaving for Aussie(greener pastures?) already!! It was damn funny!! I mean..as she was going into the immigration thingey..OG 3 started to sing " OH WHEN THE SAINTS~ OH WHEN THE SAINTS~ OH WHEN THE SAINTS GO MARCHING IN~ OH LORD I WANT TO BE IN THAT NUMBER~ OH WHEN THE SAINTS GO MARCHING IN~" aND everyone at the departure hall turned to stare at us like we were some circus clowns..But..anything to let Dee leave with SA SPIRIT!!! (she say we lousy lo..cheer too soft! hahahah)

Right. So..Dee, if you are reading this, I LOVE YOU!! AND I'M MISSING YOU ALREADY, TRIBE WARRIOR!! (you and your rah-rah ness..now toilet gang is 1/4 short!! How to go toilet next time?!)

Hmm..I finally got my wish!!! Last day of lunar new year watching fireworks(again)!! I LOVE fireworks!! For anyone who's trying to please me or..I don't know make me melt..hahahaha..show me some massive display of fireworks!! Okay..if I can receive the recorded version, I'll post it up here for you all to view k? You'll love it!!

Dra and Qin should be so damn proud of me! I finally bought a bag!!! After 10++ weeks of searching for the perfect bag..guess how I bought my bag today?

I went into Nike store..scanned around for 2 minutes. Spotted this gorgeous duffel bag underneath some overhanging apparels. Dug it out. Tried it on. And asked for a new one! All within the time span of 5 freakin minutes!! Dra!!! It's your influence! ( I won't say it's BAD influence..not like someone else!! hahaha!!) Okay la..I'm proud of myself k..at least Im able to be decisive for once. Or was that impulse?

1 more day to V-day!!

But then again..for couples, I don't think you need a special day to express your love..and there's definitely no need to splurge on this one day! Not worth it!! However..hahaha..which girl would not like being pampered right?

For singles, this is the time for you to gather all your single pals!! ANd do some wild partying all night!! There's really no need to be feeling depressed and down just because you don't have someone dear to..i don't know..waste money on(hahah!!)..It's a day to celebrate LOVE!!! love for your family and friends!!

Finally! The results are out and all the months of waiting is over!!!

Okay. So I got 12. Not fantabulous..not bad. Definitely capable of better results. (considering that I actually did better for my prelims-11) But wells, I'm contented!! Because... I got A2 for physics!!! AND B3 FOR A.MATH!! NEVER IN MY LIFE WOULD I DREAM OF GETTING ANY HIGHER THAN C6 FOR A MATH.. B3 IS LIKE..WOAH FOR ME!!! MOST IMPORTANTLY!!!! (I REALLY MUST THANK MRS LEE SIEW KIM FOR THIS..!!) A1 FOR ENGLISH!!! WHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

But...sigh..my humanities dropped..like a lot. A2 for geog and B4 for combined?!! How can like that?! I was expecting A1 for both!!! And emath A2?! how can?! sigh...

right. So now..thank God I must..heavenly father..you've always been there for me when I cried for help, when I yearned for comfort and when I prayed for reassurance. Through your blessings, I've gained strength and confidence. I want to thank you for all that you've provided and all that you have willingly and selflessly gave. Without you, I wouldn't have gone this far..So thank you as I commit myself into your hands where I know I'll be safe. :)

Secondly, my parents for being the supportive people that they are..yes, the freedom and trust I'm given. I'm grateful for all that. And I hope to do better to make them proud-er!! hahaha...

Next..without these people, I wouldn't even have an education!! My beloved teachers!! They have been FAB!!! ABSOLUTELY FAB!!! Miss Ng, Mrs Lee...Mrs Koh..Mr NG!!! Mr Choo!!! Mr Singh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! J.Lim, Tang lao shi....everyone who taught me!! You all have been great! (and you all are the reason I studied too!!!)

Now..all my supportive friends!! Whee~ hahahaha..shall not name any..cause all of you made a difference! (shall let you all ponder on what specific difference each one of you made!)

Okay..so after receiving the results, Jo(the bun), Wy(the baker), Elias, Jia Jun came over to my house to collect their bags and also to decide where to go for celebrations..After about 45 minutes..no venue was decided and yong jun(hu xu lao) and kobe turned up. So we sat at my dining table chatting and snacking on new year goodies. Yup..we WERE STILL DECIDING ON WHERE TO GO!!! JP arrived shortly after and joined in our conversation. -_- But we kept digressing..

Me: eh..so where are we going later?

Jo: Bowling!!!

Jun: don't want bowling la..

Me: Yeah..don't want..

JP: can we go somewhere where we don't have to spend any money?

Jun/kobe: can!! stay here and eat the new year goodies lor..

Me: or you can go Macs!!! can use ez-link!!

Jo: oh yeah..ez-link..you know that time at Macs hor..
(we then proceeded on to hear the Macs story..)

after a while...

Jun: so where are we going later?

Me: I don't want seoul garden or steamboat la..

JP: no money!!

Me: (randomly) So weiying..have you found your girl??

Wy: No la!! You don't know my class....

Jo: yeah lo yeah lo..I agree..

JP: are we just going to sit here and stone the day away?! Where are we going??

Jun: Go sentosa do what?

Jp: the stuff there damn ex..

Wy: got hot babes leh..

after an hour or so, my fextremely cute mommy told us that there were fireworks display at esplanade at 9.30pm...and that we could eat at marina square.. and so it was decided..ESPLANADE AND MARINA SQUARE IT WAS!!

It was actually very much like a guys' outing because there were 7 guys and only 2 lonely girls..Jo and me.. But!! I really like these guys!! And I enjoyed the day+night. Hahaha..saw Jo's fellow OG mate and I think she's so cute!! all the accents and funny expressions! Wish you all the best with your Mr .... Yup!!

After Dinner, we walked around somemore and took some pictures. I think Jo will be posting them up, so just visit her blog to check it out! I too lazy to upload. And we had hagendaz ice-cream!! FEX!! But really worth it cause it's simply orgasmic!

More photo-taking and it was a walk on the bridge outside esplanade to wait for the works. When the first firework lit the sky, I was completely stunned..What beauty and grace!! Then more bouts of lights flooded the sky and I stood there flabbergasted..completely lost for words..It was so beautiful that you just wish to share the moment with your loved ones!!! I was like, "OH MY GOODNESS!!!!" sigh..I wished des was there..oh wells..too bad. Oh..for your information, people, the fireworks will be up on display everynight until the end of the chinese new year(which is this sunday) at 9.30pm..if you have nothing on, please drop by and view this spectaclular display! OhOH!!! and there were heart-shaped fireworks too!!! SO..IN TIME FOR VALENTINE'S!!

right.so after the works..we took more pictures! And I saw a man..as in AMANda!!! hahahaha..this girl is cute la!! Was there to see the works too. (: Quite sparstic actually..pictures with the xiao-merlion because the actual merlion too big, difficult to take pictures of the whole group of us with it!! Haha..Had great fun!! and I hope to go out with those guys..and JO another time!!

Now, I'm just shagged..

2.24..and I stupidly agreed to tuition later at 9am..

FUNNY!!! My parents actually told me not to go for tuition!!!!!!!

Me: Sian..tomorrow still have tuition at 9

Mommy: Har?! Why??then still don't go and bathe and sleep..don't go la..

Me: But I told lao shi already..

Mommy: then tomorrow wake up early, call him and tell him you not going la!!

Daddy: yeah la, take a break! Just collect results..

Me: then since not going I dont' want to wake up so early leh..Mommy, you wake up and call him can?

Mommy: orh..tell him what? I know..tell him you not feeling well, cannot wake up.

Me: hahahahaha..cannot wake up or not feeling well?

Mommy..anything la..so I call right?

Me: yeah,okay...where got parents discourage their child from going tuition one?? (thinking aloud)

Mommy: aiya..also not like you have some common test..

Me: Okay lo..dont go.

Mommy: EH!! GO AND BATHE!!

daddy: YEAH!! DIRTY BABY!!!

hahahah...so comical..

Where did it go?!

Where did my previous post disappear to?? How come don't have??

Anyway..I forgot what it was about. So..a brand new week..a brand new EMOTIONALLY TRAMATISING week..right. 3 more days til results are out. Strangely enough, I didn't feel anything at all. Like not even a tinge if anxiety or..anticipation. Just blank. That was yesterday.

TOday..a tad different..I'm beginning to fret. What if I screw up bad?? I'm going to be so dead. I know I know..I might have done well for all I know..But somehow, there isn't this illusion. As in..the good side cannot be pictured by my limited brain space. All the negative stuff only!! But I guess I took it better than Jo..she was like totally stoned when I told her online that it was confirmed..Lost in shock, literally!! She stopped replying me and I had to "HU~ XI~ HU~ XI~..." with her..hahaha..JOJO!!DON'T WORRY! YOU CAN MAKE IT! YOU WILL DO WELL!

I think as the days pass.. my anxiety level will just shoot up and never come down. oh wells.. It's already decided..I can't do anything else but to accept it right?? (I sound like I already knew my results)

DAmn it la...get me all prepared and worried and now it's off.. Disappointed can..but not anyone's fault..hahaha..it's the traffic's fault..

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!

Yet another festive season..eat, play, drink, gamble...imagine, 15 days of that. But Singapore's culture ain't 15 days..oh wells..I'd only be too glad to slack for 15 days.

Oh yeah, there's release of results too!! Hmm..would it be a double celebration or a let down? Hope I did well.. =x

So! How's everyone's chu yi and chu er?? Fun? I certainly did.. but unfortunately, it had to end up like hell. Again. It was the same for christmas(my favourite hol) and the same this time too. But well, I know only too well..

And I have to thank my friends who were there for me!! Yet again!! Qin and Jo for bearing with my "sianess" that morning.. Dra for giving me my childhood favourite snack!!! I love you babe!!.. Dee for making me laugh like always. Everyone in SA made a difference!!! And des for making me smile again..

So you see...friends will always be there for you no matter what. Most importantly, though, it was He who helped me get up my feet again..He who picked me up when I was my loneliest through my darkest times..and he never ever gave up on me.. My holy father and Lord. I love you...

yup..okay..life n SA is becoming quite hectic..I come home ready to jump into bed every night. But I guess I'd rather be a student than working. Right? At least I don't have to worry bout my expenses and what to wear every morning. Touch rug rawks my socks off la!!! Wee~

Okay..I'm going to end off with something that's random..(random is my new word.hahaha) people at SA are calling me debbie..And I think it sounds so cute!! Like it so much better than Deborah.. Deb is okay..but debbie is just..so lovable!! I am lovable. Don't you all agree??
